Nobias is a new pharma startup using a variety of AI tools to speed drug development. We are an early stage biotech using large repositories of biological data, cutting edge deep learning techniques, automated reasoning, and computational biochemistry to discover and develop new medicines, diagnostics, and insights for a variety of diseases. Tech Stack
Our tech stack is a mix of Python and Ocaml. And some math, deployed in clever ways. DSLs. A little compiler. Various compute engines. Some glue scripts, sadly. It's early days yet - join us and you'll have a chance to put your stamp on many of our key technologies.
For our machine learning roles, we expect that in addition to having strong knowledge of core principles of AI and various ML techniques including deep learning, that you are also able to program well (mostly in Python).
For our platform engineering roles (which likely will also involve a lot of ML work), we look for candidates who either have deep expertise in our existing tech stack, or a deep desire to develop such deep expertise. A background in any of the following is a plus: compilers, type theory/theorem provers, systems programming, distributed/scalable web platforms, and databases. You should know what it means to compute, and have a sense for the soul of a machine. Front end skills are also helpful.
